Lebo Prime Baseball

The purpose of the Lebo Prime program is to:

PRIME the player's interest in the sport of baseball.
PRIME players to become lifelong athletes.
Serve as the PRIME introduction to sports, free from negative experiences and pressure.
Develop players and coaches who are the PRIME examples of sportsmanship, effort, and play.
Develop the PRIME baseball player in each athlete.

Cooperstown Information

Each summer our Lebo Prime 12U teams represent the Mt Lebanon Baseball Association on a trip to the birthplace of baseball, Cooperstown, NY, to play in a "Once-in-a-Lifetime" tournament at the Cooperstown Dreams Park or All-Star Village.

Current year tournament dates are:

Lebo Prime 12U Blue Team- July 31st - August 6th, 2024 @ Cooperstown Dreams Park (Cooperstown Dreams Park)

Lebo Prime 12U Gold Team- July 31st - August 6th, 2024 @ Cooperstown Dreams Park (Cooperstown Dreams Park)

Cooperstown Details:

Cooperstown Tournament Fees are separate from the Lebo Prime Travel registration fees.
Per player fees for the tournament vary depending on roster size and # of coaches attending.
The Per Player Fee for 2024 is $1760. Optional payment plan is available when registering.
Player Fee includes- Home/away uniforms (hat, jerseys, socks), Player warm-up set (tournament & mock T, batting practice jacket, hat), Coaches gear (hat, 2 polos, jacket), Meals and accommodations for players and up to 3 coaches, Laundry service, Personalized baseball cards.
Extra fees for player trading pins, team shirts, etc. may be needed.
MLBA will help teams with fundraisers to offset the costs for the players.
**Families are responsible for their own lodging, meals, entertainment and travel expenses.
Players will be sent a separate Cooperstown Registration link after being selected for a 12U Lebo Prime team.

Cooperstown Results

Cooperstown Eligibility

Each player must be selected for a Lebo Prime 12U Blue/Gold team, AND:

Meet all criteria for participation in the current MLBA Spring and Lebo Prime Travel Baseball programs.
Have participated fully in MLBA Spring and Lebo Prime programs the previous season (11U), AND
Have been selected for at least one (1) Lebo Prime Travel Baseball Team prior to that player’s 11U season.

Exceptions*:

New to Mt Lebanon Township entering either the 11U or 12U season (grades 5th/6th).
Injury (validated at time of tryout) prevented the player from trying out and participating.
Tried out but did not make a Lebo Prime Travel Baseball Teams prior to the 11U season.
A roster spot (or multiple spots) on the 12U team becomes available due to an insufficient number of players available.

*All exceptions need to be approved by the MLBA Board of Directors.

This registration is by INVITATION ONLY. Please do not use if you are not part of our 12U Cooperstown program this season.

Per player fee is $1760*. Choose the Cooperstown Payment Plan at checkout to spread the fee over 5 payments.

The Mt Lebanon Baseball Cooperstown player fee includes*:

Cooperstown Dreams Park per player fee of $1295.
Cooperstown Dreams Park per coach fee of $1295 (applied across all players).
Cooperstown Dreams Park per Umpire fee of $1295 (applied across all players).
Credit Card processing fee of 3.4%.

*Total Cooperstown fee is subject to change depending on the number of players, coaches and umpires participating.
