3). TRAVEL BALL TRYOUTS: Team Yankees will hold tryouts for 10s, 11s & 12s on Sunday Aug 23rd, at 4pm Mangino Field in Mahoningtown. Total cost is $750. That includes indoor practice sessions at the 3H that run from Jan thru Mar. Price includes practice uniforms, insurance, game uniforms, league fees, umpires & tournament entry fees. They will be competing in the Atlantic Coast League again for the upcoming season that starts April & runs through May. They will play around 20 league games and 30 tournament games. 4). FALL BALL: Sacred Heart East End Assn will have a fall BB program with two teams, a 18U & a 16U. The cost per player is $95 for 12 games, played on Sundays plus playoffs. With a possible Saturday afternoon game as long as it does not interfere with scheduled HS practices & scrimmages. 5). PROGRAM & FALL BALL: BB Training Academy announces the return of their Pro Player Development Program. It starts October 31st for 16 weeks. Each workout is 3 hours with 5 stations of pitching, hitting, infield, outfield, speed & strength. The package includes: 4 months of unlimited facility use, 4 private lessons with your choice of instructors, and 10% discounts on any other lesson package you need. 6). PROGRAM & ACADEMY: The Diamond Dawgs will run a 3 part program including fall outdoor practice, winter indoor practice, and tournament travel. Winter practice will be at the Greentree Sportsplex. Tryout dates are Aug 30th at Webb Field in Collier for ages 9-12 at 10am, 13-18 at noon. Sep 6th at Sullivan Field in Etna for ages 9-12 at 2pm at 13-18 at 3:30pm. SEARCH FOR PLAYERS: The Central PA Capitals are looking for 15U &16U players to go South to Florida over Thanksgiving, New Years & the last week in February Practice will be in October & November.Also we are putting together a Select Cooperstown 12U team for the 2nd or 3rd week in August, 2010 with practice to start in March once a month April, May & June, then have two weeks of training camp the end of July & the first week of August.
